Why did I choose to be a Bleau athlete?
I love the comfortable and stylist clothes, and Fontainebleau is my home crag so it’s very fitting.
When did you climb your first block?
When I was about 12 years old at a competition (triple crown competition) that I won 🙂
What role does bouldering play in your life?
Bouldering plays a huge role in my life. My entire schedule is basically fit around my training schedule, bouldering trips, climbing trips, etc.
How do you prepare for your next project?
I like to visualize the project a lot, do the moves in my mind, trying to feel the moves in my muscles. It really helps to prepare me mentally but even physically as well.
What is “The spirit of Fontainebleau” for you?
For me, the “Spirit of Fontainebleau” is climbing these amazing boulders that are so full of history, so diverse and so technical.
What is your favorite area and your favorite boulder in Fontainebleau?
I like Cuvier just because there are so many boulders and so many classics. My favorite boulder is Megalithe, it is absolutely beautiful, tall, symmetrical with amazing moves. It was also my first 7c+ here 🙂
What inspires you next to bouldering?
I don’t have a project in mind right now, so right now I’m more inspired by climbing amazing classics that aren’t necessarily super hard.
What is your favourite piece from the Bleau collection?
I love the 95.2 top in the yellow and green colors!
